Talon Knuckle Buster

Talon Knuckle Buster - $110.00

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that I have a slight obsession with jewelry. Over the past couple of months I’ve been finding the most amazing accessories online and in the little antique shops I frequent around Pittsburgh. Recently I’ve come to fall deeply and madly in love with a jewelry line called Made Her Think. Designed by Meridith Kahn and seen on the likes of Rihanna and Mary Kate Olsen, the line has been called imaginative and slightly whimsical, with Meredith drawing on inspiration from Mexico’s Day of the Dead.

I will have this talon knuckle buster in my jewelry box if it’s the last thing I do!

Ndeur

Ndeur

Ndeur (pronounced like ‘under’) is the brand of Parisian graphic artist Mathieu Missiaen who uses everything from paper to paint to create his master pieces. Stumbling on him through a friend, I became extremely intrigued with his paper sculputers of fashion accessories (think: shoes, jewelry) he’s created for various magazine shoots.

On top of his work with Make a Paper World with Julien Morin, Ndeur also adds his artistic touch to vintage shoes, and is being featured in the soon to drop ‘Vans Off the Wall’ history book for his creative work with the tennis shoe company.

If you like what you see please check out the Ndeur blog and website.

Tom Binns Designs.

a Tom Binns design

a Tom Binns design

Picture 13Irish born jewelry designer Tom Binns owns a piece of my heart. Make that, a big FAT piece of my heart. With a fan base that includes First Lady Michelle Obama and designs that will make tears come to anyone woman’s eye (and pocket for that matter), its no wonder his collaborations with the likes of Vivienne Westwood and others have made him a designer you want to have in your jewelry boxes.

Featured in heavy hitting magazines such as Harpars Baazar and Vogue, his pieces are both lady like and completely out there. Colorful, charming, and with a tough edge anyone can admire, there’s a little something for everyone, but remember, good taste comes with a price and a Tom Binns price is a steep one. For some reason in my head (and my heart) I think he’s more than worth it…

More goodness this way!

Broken Fab.

Broken Fab by Fabienne Morel

Broken Fab by Fabienne Morel

I’m pretty much a minimalist when it comes to clothing. The simplest of outfits can be completely transformed with a little (OK, a lot) of accessories. London based designer Fabienne Morel brings us a little something different in terms of accessories. She brings us beads. Lots and lots of beautiful beads coming together to create some of the most fabulous accessories I’ve seen in awhile

Inspired by the underground music scene in London, Fabienne’s jewelery line Broken Fab mixes colorful beads into funky tribal earrings, necklaces, brooches, and bracelets worthy of any lazy day outfit. I’m thinking about pairing one of these necklaces with cut offs, a tank, and gladiator sandals. What about you?

More beady goodness under the hood!
